	All registered members of the National Shrine of the Little Flower are eligible to make church contributions by direct debit or credit card. Faith Direct provides this service to you and to the parish. How do I sign up? Visit Faith Direct to sign up. National Shrine of the Little Flower is code mi16. How does Faith Direct work? This secure program works directly with your bank, in the same way as other electronic funds transfer systems you may already conduct (such as utility bills or your mortgage payment). All transactions are done electronically, debiting your bank account automatically for the amount to which you have agreed in writing. It is a hassle-free, simple solution for today’s busy families. When do the transactions take place? On the fourth business day of each month your account will be debited for the total weekly contribution amounts you have authorized. National Shrine Parish will receive your contribution within four business days. How can I be sure that my gift is going to my Church? Your monthly gift will be clearly itemized on your bank statement with National Shrine of the Little Flower c/o Faith Direct. National Shrine Parish will receive monthly statements indicating your support level. Faith Direct will provide you with an annual contribution statement for tax purposes. Your contributions to your the parish via Faith Direct are tax-deductible in the same way your offering is now. Can I stop, increase or decrease my payment at anytime? Yes, by calling Faith Direct toll free at 866.507.8757 or visiting their website at www.faithdirect.net. Do I have to do my contributions in this way? NO, absolutely not. This is a service provided for those who want to use it. For everyone else, Sunday Offertory Envelopes will still be provided. Msgr. Easton encourages you to look into this service. Read over the information and visit their website. He is going to personally use it for his own contributions. While you are considering it, please consider your level of support to the parish. It has been nine years since the parish has asked for an increase in offertory contributions. In those 9 years costs have increased considerably. Many people are talking about their increased heating bills. It hits the parish as well. Even though the parish is saving money because the Conference Center is considerably cheaper to heat than the old convent was, bills have still increased a whopping 43%. Health benefits for employees and many other costs have also increased dramatically. Please consider increasing your support for the parish as well. If we all do our part, we can do great things together.
