As we begin 2021 we are so pleased to share some wonderful news regarding our schools. On behalf of the faculty and staff at Shrine Catholic Schools we are happy to announce the launch of our new all schools website. Not only is this an opportunity for our school families to remain connected (united) during this difficult time of social distancing but also to highlight all the amazing aspects of Shrine schools for future families.
HELP US PROTECT OUR FAITHFUL Centennial anniversary plans are underway for our Basilica which will turn 100 in five years. One of the key items to address is the deferred maintenance of our church such as all the flat roofs. Please consider making a donation to help fund the large repair costs. Your gift will go towards the protection of all the faithful who enter under our roof. Please text RazeRoof to 12484221069, visit here to make your gift online or by check with the memo line RazeRoof.

Please help us extend our generous love as a Parish family to the poor again this Advent. Adopt a Family gift tags can be found on the Giving Tree, too. Please place the donated item in a gift bag and bring to the parish office by December 11.
We are looking forward to celebrating Christmas Mass with you in just a few short weeks. Our celebrations will look a little different than in years past due to COVID-19. As your safety is our top priority, we are asking you to complete a short survey. This will allow us to get an accurate count for each service so we can adjust accordingly in order to maintain proper social distancing. Please take survey by Monday, November 23.
In a letter to the faithful of the Archdiocese of Detroit, Archbishop Vigneron announced that due to the increasing numbers of positive COVID-19 cases in southeast Michigan, and the dramatic and dangerous rate at which positive cases are increasing, he has made the decision to extend the dispensation from the obligation to attend Mass on Sundays and Holy Days of obligation for people living in or visiting the Archdiocese of Detroit until Ash Wednesday, February 17, 2021.
