St. Therese Basilica Choir

The St. Therese Basilica Choir is open to all high-school aged students and adults who love to sing. Rehearsals are on Thursdays from 7-9PM in the Undercroft of the Basilica. The Basilica Choir sings at the 11:30AM Sunday Mass and at other principal liturgies of the year, September through June. Repertoire is drawn from the Church’s treasury of sacred music, which includes Gregorian chant, polyphony, and contemporary classics. Music theory and vocal technique are also taught in rehearsal.

Children's Choir

The Children’s Choir runs from September through June and is open to children grades 3-8. Rehearsals are held on Thursdays from 5:30-6:30PM in the Undercroft of the Basilica. The Children’s Choir sings at the 4:30 Mass on Christmas Eve, and other designated liturgies. A complete schedule will be provided prior to the fall and spring semesters.

Jubilate Festival Choir

The Jubilate Festival Choir is geared towards those with limited availability who would love to sing for Christmas and Easter liturgies. Membership is open to highschoolers, college students, and adults. Rehearsals are two to three weeks before holy days.

Schola Cantorum

The Schola Cantorum is a choir focused on learning to sing Gregorian Chant and sacred liturgical music from the Renaissance. An audition is required to participate in this ensemble.

Shrine Handbell Choir

The Shrine Handbell Choir plays on designated feasts and special occasions throughout the year. Membership is open to highschoolers and adults. Music-reading ability and a good sense of rhythm are preferred but not a requirement. Rehearsals are on Thursdays in the Basilica from 5:30-6:30PM.

Resurrection Choir

The Resurrection Choir ministers through prayer and music at parish funerals. Members are notified by telephone when they are needed to serve at a funeral liturgy.
